Hi, when I bring new shooters in to the sport I bring then to one of the best gun clubs in New England owner club. But when someone who’s never shot before looks down range they have a very hard time seeing the target out side at 25ft. I know there is a safety concerns and we all go out of are way to stay safe and that the way it should be. But I know that If you shoot at a paper target (“paper only”) at 7ft there is no safety problems and the new shooter has a great day at the club and will go home and tell all there friends how much fun they had that day shooting a firearm. What do you think? Gary.W Grin

range rules are 25 feet. otherwise, use the plinking range, not the big bore range. might be easier on the eyes. i would suggest the plinking range. if someone catchs you, they're gonna call you on the 25foot rule. just be prepared. either that or ask for permission from the eboard, but they're gonna say the same thing. if he cant see 25feet, how does he drive a car. just a heads up.
